AGM on 21st January 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting will be held at 7.0 p.m. on Tuesday 21st January 2020 at the Burns Hotel, 18 – 26 Barkston Gardens, for the following purposes.
1. Apologies
2. Approval of the Minutes of the last AGM meeting (2019)
3. Garden Management Report by Peter Shaw
4. Committee’s Report of the past year
5. Financial Report for 2019 and Proposed Budget for 2020
6. Legal Matters
7. Election of Committee Members for the coming year 8. Any other business
Members and residents wishing to be considered for election to the Commi^ee are invited to submit their nominations by 14th January, to the Hon. Secretary, Lindsay Hampson: l.l.hampson@gmail.com. Please include your motivation and how you wish to contribute to the Committee.
The quorum for voting shall be 3 members of the Committee present at the meeting. Where votes are equal, the Chairman of the meeting shall have the casting vote.
Residents wishing to attend the meeting and to vote should bring a copy of their 2019 Council Tax Bill and some proof of identity (passport or driver’s licence).
Voting will be with 1 (one) voting card per household.
The Secretary will record the business of the meeting in the Minutes which will be signed by the Chairman and posted on the website (www.courfieldgardens.net)
